Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at SSC Services for Education. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Dust and damp mop floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Move equipment and furniture as needed to ensure proper cleaning and organization.
  • Clean assigned areas, including walls, windows, and other surfaces, to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Sanitize all surfaces and equipment to prevent the spread of illness and infection.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
