Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Community Liaison to join our team at American Property Management. As a Community Liaison, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents and prospective tenants, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience at our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tour units with prospective tenants and highlight the unique features and benefits of our properties.
- Handle customer and resident relations, addressing any issues promptly and with a high level of customer service.
- Maintain knowledge of the local market and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Prepare and maintain reports for management, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Host community events and ensure they meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Assist residents throughout the rental process, from initial inquiry to move-in and beyond.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in the multifamily or student housing industry, preferably within the last 10 years.
- Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws, Landlord/Tenant Laws, and ADA laws is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and collaborative approach.
- Fluent in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
