Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and development initiatives.
  • Offer strategic legal counsel to clients on various commercial real estate issues.
  • Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation pertinent to real estate dealings.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, review title and survey documents, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Build and sustain robust client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and fostering enduring partnerships.
  • Guide and mentor junior associates, providing support and direction in their career advancement.
  • Engage in business development activities, including networking, client presentations, and participation in industry conferences.
  • Work collaboratively with other practice areas within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of MN.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a proven history of managing complex transactions.
  • Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and analytical capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate finance, leasing, and development.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on expanding the firm's practice.
  • Strong client service orientation and outstanding communication skills.
