Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Spice Merchandiser to join our team at the Milwaukee Public Market location. As a Spice Merchandiser, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building rapport with customers, and promoting our premium spice products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Provide warm and welcoming customer service in a specialty food retail environment, assisting customers throughout their store visit.
  • Product Knowledge: Build rapport with customers through conversation and honest recommendations about our spice products based on their preferences, needs, and desires.
  • Order Fulfillment: Complete customer orders through our POS and Web pickup system.
  • Store Maintenance: Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain the sales floor area and displays, restock merchandise, and assist in maintaining the back stock room.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year retail experience and/or relatable experience preferred.
  • Availability: Available for 2-4 shifts/week, including weekends and Monday-Friday between 10am-8pm, with long-term availability during morning and afternoon shifts.
  • Skills: Friendly, outgoing demeanor, strong commitment to customer service, ability to express oneself clearly and persuasively, professional and positive mentality, and ability to problem solve.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, walk, and stand for extended periods.
