Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Labor and Delivery department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- One to three years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN, preferably in a travel nursing setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
