As a Speech Pathologist PRN with Amedisys, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their homes, providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Our team is dedicated to improving the lives of those we serve, and we are looking for a skilled and compassionate speech pathologist to join us.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
  • Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state you are assigned to work.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate course work and a clinical practicum at a college or university whose program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).
  • Current CPR certification.
