Job Summary:
Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care to patients
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Collect and analyze information to inform patient care decisions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care services
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve patient-centered care goals
- Provide patient education and support to promote health and wellness
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia
- National Registry certification preferred
- High school graduate or equivalent
- None
Preferred Qualifications:
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification or ability to become certified immediately
