We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Site Designer II to join our team at Alfred Benesch & Co. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing land and site development projects.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, organize, and communicate data to perform modeling, analysis, and design calculations for projects.
- Produce completed plans for permitting and construction, as well as concept plans, advanced planning, and master planning under the direction of others.
- Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items.
- Organize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards.
- Coordinate drafting of plan elements.
- Help produce a fully coordinated set of project documents, including plans and specifications, inspections at project construction locations, and pre-construction diligence.
- Develop a cursory knowledge of applicable codes and standards and use of applicable CADD and Microsoft software.
- Contribute to our goal of being one of the best companies in North Carolina by providing high-quality designs and meeting client objectives.
- Civil Engineering degree or related discipline required.
- E.I.T. and desire to work towards P.E. in the future, preferred.
- Knowledgeable in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.
- Willingness to be adaptable to office and field inspection tasks.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and graphic).
