Position Overview

Job Responsibilities:
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician to enhance our dynamic team within the manufacturing sector.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our advanced machinery, diagnosing issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of our production processes.

This position is essential for our operational success, as it guarantees the continuity of our manufacturing activities and the quality of our offerings.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in PLC Programming, mechanical and electrical systems, machine operation, precision measurement, and power tools, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 4 AM to 2 PM - NO REQUIRED WEEKENDS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery, including mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures and issues related to PLCs and other automated systems.
  • Utilize various machines and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Employ precision measurement tools to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency and safety.
  • Formulate and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to enhance operational performance.
  • Keep detailed records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements.
  • Engage in safety meetings and comply with all safety regulations to maintain a secure and tidy work environment.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve machinery issues, boost productivity, and reduce downtime.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing field.
  • Expertise in PLC Programming with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex automated systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with efficient diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Experience in operating various machines and power tools.
  • Proficient in using precision measurement tools to ensure optimal machinery function.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration and documentation.
  • Physical endurance and strength to lift heavy machinery components and work in diverse environments.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent vocational training in mechanical or electrical repairs is preferred.
