About the Role:

Amedisys is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
  • Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state of employment.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology preferred.
