Job Summary

The Resident Maintenance (RM) Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance services and participating in the installation and commissioning of KPI projects as assigned.

The RM Technician will provide customer support, ensure maximum equipment uptime, and deliver excellence in customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Scheduled Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on associated assets as directed by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Provide Corrective/Reactive Maintenance: Perform maintenance on assets within the plant as required.
  • Root-Cause Analysis: Conduct analysis on asset failures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Project Installation and Commissioning: Participate in the installation and commissioning of KPI projects as assigned.
  • Start-Up Services: Coordinate and participate in start-up services to ensure smooth transitions from project to service teams.
  • Client Training: Train clients on support, recovery, and maintenance of field assets.
  • Client Support: Assist clients with parts orders, consumables, repair and return of defective parts, warranty services, and requests for information pertaining to their systems.
Requirements
  • Vocational School or Equivalent: Possess vocational school, related military experience, or job experience equivalent.
  • Technical Experience: Have 2-5 years of experience in at least three of the following areas: software development, controls development, AMR/AGV/SDV installation, mechanical installation and integration, client service and troubleshooting, facilities management, parts management, or project management.
  • Communication Skills: Possess a clear and effective communication style that builds client trust and satisfaction.
  • Technical Skills: Be able to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to extract necessary technical information.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess exceptional interpersonal skills (client service skills) and communication skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Be PC computer software and hardware literate.
  • Networking Skills: Possess basic computer networking skills.
  • Self-Starter: Be a self-starter, well-organized, and able to work independently without on-site supervision.
  • Travel Requirements: Willing and able to travel to client sites 30%.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, lower, and carry objects up to 50 lbs., work from heights, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Visual Requirements: Correctable vision, ability to identify and distinguish colors, depth perception, eye-hand coordination, and manual dexterity.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • On-Call Hours: Ability and willingness to work on-call hours, including weekend, night, and/or holiday work.
