To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Master's in Nursing or Nurse Practitioner Program: A graduate degree in nursing or a related field is required.
- Critical Thinking and Decision-Making: You must be able to think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or a compact state, as well as national certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or a similar organization, is required.
