About Bobbie

Bobbie is dedicated to fostering a parenting culture that emphasizes confidence over comparison. Our journey begins with the choices we make in nourishing our infants. We have meticulously crafted our European-style infant formula using purposefully sourced, organic ingredients, ensuring that parents receive a product they can trust, delivered directly to their homes. Bobbie proudly stands as the only U.S. formula designed to comply with both FDA and EU standards.

While 83% of parents rely on formula during their baby's first year, this often-overlooked majority faces undue criticism for not exclusively breastfeeding. Co-founded by two mothers and developed by a team of maternal experts, including scientists, nutritionists, pediatricians, and lactation consultants, the Bobbie team understands that feeding is not a one-size-fits-all approach. With Bobbie, we encourage you to Bottle Boldly.

The Role:

The Plant Sanitation Supervisor will oversee all facets of sanitation within the facility, focusing on the creation and implementation of strategic initiatives to maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene throughout the entire campus. This position is vital for upholding food safety standards by establishing and executing comprehensive policies and training programs related to food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance. • Lead the Facilities Sanitation Team and oversee the Contracted Pest Control Operator.
  • Assist in the formulation of site-specific GMPs.
  • Educate employees on GMPs, hazards, and safety protocols while ensuring compliance.
  • Provide support through training, troubleshooting, and maintenance of sanitation systems, equipment, and tools.
  • Work alongside site Microbiologists and operations teams to enhance GMPs, cleaning, and sanitation practices.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an FDA-regulated environment, preferably in infant formula manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of USDA Organic certification standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Sanitation, Food Safety, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related technical field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GMP, SQF audits, FDA, PMO, HACCP, and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong expertise in sanitation, HACCP, microbiology, pest management, and quality assurance systems.
  • Familiarity with clean-in-place (CIP) and clean-out-of-place (COP) methodologies, as well as cleaning turbulence, temperature, timing, and chemical concentration.
  • Experience with dry cleaning processes (e.g., chemical, heat).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex tasks for diverse employee groups.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities that lead to effective recommendations and implementations.
  • Demonstrated capability to apply risk management principles that align with both internal and external customer needs.
Core Values:
  • Be Radical: We are innovators, challenging norms and breaking barriers. We boldly use our platform for positive change.
  • Nurture the Tension: Parenthood and company building both involve healthy tensions. We embrace uncertainty, practice humility, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Deliver Ounce by Ounce: Our customers trust us to nourish their babies. We meticulously attend to every detail, ensuring their peace of mind.
  • Don't Assume: We value diverse perspectives, refrain from judgment, and celebrate the unique journeys that brought us to Bobbie. Our strength lies in our collective voice.
