Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified professional to administer, develop, test, implement, and maintain operating systems and related software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer systems, networking, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:

  • Administering, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining operating systems and related software.
  • Establishing and implementing standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving software, operating system, and networking problems.
  • Scheduling and monitoring system backups and performing data recoveries when necessary.
  • Installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface, and updates, and local system design documentation.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.
  • Training staff on software applicable to their position, assisting customers with information technology, monitoring system configuration, and providing instruction on computers and applications.

Requirements:

  • Compliance with Cyber WorkForce (CWF) directives is required for this role.
  • Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • 3 years professional experience in systems administration.
  • Secret Clearance required.
