Housekeeping Specialist

Gentex Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including restrooms, break areas, and plant offices.

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Maintain supply levels and restock as needed
• Respond to customer complaints and requests with professionalism and patience
• Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals utilizing our facilities

• Custodial/housekeeping experience preferred
• High school graduate preferred
• Good understanding of custodial/housekeeping cleaning materials preferred
• Physical endurance to cover large building spaces
• Comfortable maneuvering in and around furniture and fixtures
• Keen eye for detail

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Customer-oriented and friendly
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Ability to follow and stick to a strict daily schedule
• Work efficiently without compromising quality
• Honest and trustworthy

This position reports to the Housekeeping Group Leader.
