- Student Assessment: Develop and administer assessments to measure student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform instruction.
- Classroom Environment: Establish a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic success and social growth.
- Communication: Maintain accurate records of student progress, communicate effectively with parents and administrators, and provide timely feedback to students.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Current teacher certification in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC
- Experience in elementary education preferred
- Strong knowledge of child development and supervision
