Nurse Practitioner

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Dallas Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to new mothers and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct patient and family education on various topics, including childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current.
- ACLS certification within 90 days and maintain current.
- NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current.
- Basic Fetal monitoring within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate within 12 months.
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate preferred.
- STABLE preferred.

About Us:
Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission. We offer a wide range of medical services, including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging. Our hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area.
