Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient service of meals to patients, guests, and employees.

Responsibilities
  • Serve meals to patients, guests, and employees in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and process salads, desserts, and other cold items for service.
  • Wash dishes, pots, and utensils to ensure proper sanitation.
  • Deliver and retrieve meal trays for patients at their bedside.
  • Maintain the kitchen areas free of debris and ensure proper sanitary conditions.
Requirements
  • 9th grade education preferred.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and established procedures.
  • On-the-job training provided.
Working Conditions

This position requires light physical effort on a regular basis, including frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, or reaching. Periodic eye or ear strain may also be present.
