Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Technologist to join our team in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our orthopaedic surgeons and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with casting, bracing, and orthotics procedures.
  • Take measurements and prepare patients for surgery.
  • Remove sutures, staples, and other medical devices.
  • Change dressings and care for wounds.
  • Apply and adjust casts as needed.
  • Assist with aspirations and prepare injections.
  • Record patient data and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience as an Orthopaedic Technologist or related field.
  • Certification from the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologists (NOAT) or American Society of Orthopaedic Professionals (ASOP) preferred.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
