Job Opportunity

We are seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty members to teach various courses in the Exercise and Sport Science department at Carthage College.

Responsibilities
  • Teach college-level courses in Exercise and Sport Science, including Foundations of Exercise and Sport Science, Psychology of Health & Performance, and other related courses.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments to promote student learning and success.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to promote student success and retention.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field (Ph.D. or A.B.D. preferred).
  • Teaching or instructional experience.
  • Related certifications (NSCA, ACE, NASM, ASCM, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience in teaching college-level courses preferred.
