Job Summary

As a Packer I at Gibraltar Industries, you will be responsible for packing and stacking cartons of plastic injection molded products from machinery. You will also be required to read and follow Bill of Materials (BOM) for each machine assigned, apply all labels to product required on BOM, inspect and monitor the quality of parts, assembled components, and finished products, report machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance or supervision, and follow all safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Packing and stacking cartons of plastic injection molded products from machinery
  • Reading and following Bill of Materials (BOM) for each machine assigned
  • Applying all labels to product required on BOM
  • Inspecting and monitoring the quality of parts, assembled components, and finished products
  • Reporting machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance or supervision
  • Following all safety policies and procedures


Requirements

  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Able to walk long distances
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
