Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in labor and delivery, including fetal monitoring and pain management.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Support patients and families through the birthing process, promoting a positive and empowering experience.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a culture of respect and inclusivity.
Requirements
  • Current CA RN License
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association
  • NRP certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery/Post Partum/Newborn Nursery
  • Fetal monitoring experience required for L&D/antepartum positions
Preferred Qualifications
  • C/Section experience
