About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Gastroenterology Clinic. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients, working under the direction of a registered nurse.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the ages of patients served.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively use the nursing process in the delivery of patient care through data gathering, planning, and evaluation.
  • Provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the ages of patients served.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all patients, guests, family members, and co-workers to ensure a quality patient experience.
  • Adapt to rapid change in a positive manner throughout the day as needs of the unit/department change.
  • Manage personal professional development and maintain required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training, and credentials.

Requirements:

  • Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: IV therapy credentials.
