Distinguished Pastry Craftsman

Cantoro Italian Market & Trattoria, a culinary mecca inspired by the famous Italian markets in Rome, Venice, and Palermo, is seeking a Distinguished Pastry Craftsman to join our team. With a 55,000 square foot Italian culinary destination and an award-winning restaurant attached, we offer a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As a Distinguished Pastry Craftsman, you will be responsible for creating exquisite pastries, cakes, and other baked goods that showcase your skills and creativity.

Cantoro Italian Market & Trattoria is a high-volume production bakery that produces gourmet pastries and cakes fresh daily. Our staff works together as a team to produce items to fill our display case, as well as custom orders and wedding cakes. As a Distinguished Pastry Craftsman, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our chefs and bakers to create delicious and visually appealing pastries.

• Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station
• Produce items to fill our display case daily
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Previous pastry experience preferred
• Requires knowledge of food production, storage, handling, and commercial use culinary equipment
• Stand on feet for 8 hours, lifting and bending
• Be able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency
• Requires ability to lift 20-50 pounds frequently

• Competitive salary based on experience level: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
