About the Role

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a highly skilled Developmental Therapist to join our Early Intervention Services team. As a Developmental Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of young children with disabilities or delays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify children's strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) in collaboration with families and other team members
  • Provide early intervention services to families, including coaching and support to enhance their child's development
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as service coordinators and therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for children and families
  • Participate in Birth to Three sponsored trainings and learning opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in early intervention
Requirements
  • Meet CT Birth to Three education and licensure requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with Department of Education Certificate Endorsement 112, 113, 065, 165, 265, 057, 059, or 055
  • Valid Connecticut driver's license
  • One year of experience working with children in early intervention
  • Bilingual encouraged
