We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Staff Pharmacist I/MVH/PT to join our team at Premier Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients, compounding and dispensing medications, and participating in clinical research protocols and drug therapy research activities.
Key Responsibilities- Compounds and dispenses medications under the supervision of Pharmacy Leadership and according to standard procedures.
- Provides pharmaceutical care upon receiving provider orders.
- Performs all duties necessary to provide for the effective daily operation of all departmental services and programs.
- Responsible for medication dosing and monitoring by provider referral.
- Active participant in codes.
- Supervises interns and technicians in all work areas assigned.
- Participates in training pharmacy students and technicians.
- Participates in clinical research protocols and drug therapy research activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. A bachelor's degree in pharmacy and a current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Ohio are required. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
