Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal representation to injured workers in workers' compensation claims, ensuring they receive fair compensation for their injuries.
- Conduct thorough investigations of workers' compensation cases, gathering all necessary evidence to build a strong case.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and appeals, to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and employers, advocating for the rights of our clients.
- Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials, providing expert testimony and guidance throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate records and manage case files effectively, ensuring seamless communication with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school, with a strong understanding of California workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Active membership in the State Bar of California, demonstrating a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional ethics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing workers' compensation law, with a proven track record of success in advocating for injured workers.
- Strong understanding of California workers' compensation laws and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
