Land Survey Crew Chief

Snyder & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Land Survey Crew Chief to lead our survey teams in the Omaha/Council Bluffs office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of surveying tasks, including ALTA surveys, construction staking, and boundary surveys.

• Surveying and Mapping: Perform as a surveyor or survey technician in all facets of surveying, including ALTA surveys, construction staking, boundary and retracement surveys, aerial control, LiDAR verifications, topographic survey and utility mapping, as-builts, buildings and structures, acquisition plats, easements, expert witness, micrositing, control networks, flood mapping and cross sections, preliminary D.O.T. surveys, and utility survey and staking.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage survey teams, ensuring efficient and safe work habits, and providing guidance and support to team members.
• Problem Solving: Utilize strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex surveying issues and ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success and meet client needs.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in land surveying in North America.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, efficient and safe work habits, reliable and punctual attendance, ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and ability to safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds of equipment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field.
