Job Summary:

The Maintenance Electronics Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems, including pneumatics, electronics, and PLC ladder logic. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and electronics maintenance principles and be able to work with thermocouples, RTD's, and other high-tech devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools.
  • Work closely with other maintenance department crafts to support initiatives that improve equipment reliability.
  • Perform daily activities needed to support and comply with requirements surrounding plant maintenance activities.
  • Inspect, replace or repair non-operational equipment and/or components of equipment that are hindering the equipment from operating efficiently.
  • Test electrical systems, equipment, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.

Requirements:

  • Technical or Two-year Associates Degree required.
  • A combination of High School Diploma or GED plus equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Candidate must demonstrate mechanical and electrical skills and knowledge, A/C and 3 phase circuits, & instrumentation knowledge and skills.
  • Must maintain a positive rating as described in the training/qualification evaluation record as a Maintenance Electronic Technician.
