Job Overview

Focused Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students with communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address communication disorders

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • ASHA certification or eligibility for certification
  • State of Delaware Speech/Language Pathologist Professional License
  • Ability to stand and work continuously for a minimum of four hours per work day
  • Ability to use arms and hands without restrictions to accommodate the physical, mobility, and ambulatory needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • 1 year of experience handling student case loads
  • 1 year of experience as a School SLP

Work Environment:

  • Full-time position
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Day shift
  • No weekends

Education:

  • Master's degree (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Speech Language Pathology License (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (preferred)
