About the Position

We're seeking a seasoned Mechanical HVAC Superintendent to lead our project teams in delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing direction and guidance to project teams, ensuring that all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and evaluate field project team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects successfully.
  • Plan, organize, and direct the production of contracted scope of work, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution and excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve any conflicts.
  • Ensure that all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards, adhering to Power Design's standards of quality, safety, and best practices.
  • Manage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet schedule, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Skilled field supervisor with at least 10 years of experience managing crews and running multimillion-dollar construction projects.
  • Experience with multi-family residential and commercial projects preferred.
  • An active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of the National Building Code, local codes, and construction safety requirements.
  • Experience utilizing various construction project management and technology applications, such as Bluebeam, BIM 360, Fieldwire, Procore, OpenSpace, and CrewConnect, preferred.
