High School Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated High School Teacher to join our team at Options For Youth. As a key member of our educational staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to our students, utilizing a range of teaching strategies and technologies to enhance learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and promote student success.
- Utilize educational technology and media to create interactive and immersive learning experiences.
- Facilitate collaborative learning environments, promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
- Assess student progress, using data to inform instruction and drive student achievement.
- Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect, empathy, and social responsibility.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, develop curriculum, and support student growth.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- California Single Subject Teaching Credential and English Language Authorization required.
- Single subject in English, Mathematics, Sciences, or Social Science preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
