Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Fitness Instructor for Kids. As a Fitness Instructor, you'll be responsible for leading engaging and interactive fitness classes for children aged 6 months to 12 years. You'll work closely with our team to develop and implement fun and challenging programs that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our young participants.
Responsibilities- Lead high-energy fitness classes for children aged 6 months to 12 years
- Develop and implement engaging and interactive programs that promote physical activity, social skills, and emotional well-being
- Work closely with our team to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in children's fitness and education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. exercise science, education, child development) an asset
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in a fitness or educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to keep up with high-energy classes
- Competitive hourly rate ($14-$14.50 per hour)
