Outpatient Psychiatrist Position at AdventHealth Medical Group

Job Summary:

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients across the full spectrum of mental health conditions in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Providing psychotherapy and medication management as appropriate.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and primary care physicians.
  • Engaging in patient education and offering support to help individuals manage their mental health effectively.
  • Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in psychiatric care.

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree
  • Psychiatry experience (preferred)
  • Current, valid Florida Medical license
  • Board Certification
  • BLS & ACLS
  • DEA License
