Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rehabilitation Patient Access Representative to join our team at Resurgens Orthopaedics. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless patient flow, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice
  • Verify patient information, obtain necessary documentation, and update records as needed
  • Schedule appointments, manage waitlists, and communicate with patients regarding delays or cancellations
  • Process payments, collect co-pays, and handle billing inquiries
  • Communicate with insurance companies, workers' compensation, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and practice management software
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a high-volume setting
