Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse 1 - Specialty to join our team at UHealth Tower. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing exceptional service to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and Evaluate Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of assigned patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Create and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
- Certification and Licensing: Registered Nurse License; BLS, ACLS, ONS/ONCC.
- Experience: Two years of experience preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing care methods and procedures, health and safety guidelines and procedures, excellent patient experience skills, ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems, ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships, and ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
