Job Description

Medica is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that support our business growth and agility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable data solutions that transform data into a useful format for analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify non-functional requirements that impact data design.
  • Work with ETL and QA teams to ensure all requirements are met by the solution.
  • Develop and maintain data architecture designs and data flows for subject areas impacted by programs/projects.

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or related field. An MS is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in software development and database applications with a majority of this experience in data strategy, sourcing, modeling, integration, and architecture.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Informatica Powercenter/IDMC.
  • Experience with Cloud, SnowFlake databases, ADLS, and Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or CBIP (Certified Business Intelligence Professional).
  • Experience with ERwin, ER Studio, PowerDesigner.
  • Certification in Agile methodology and ITIL foundations.

Medica offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $145,700, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, paid volunteer time off, 401K contributions, and caregiver services.
