Job Title: Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse

Children's Health (Dallas) is seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. As a PICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate PICU RN to provide direct patient care, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a PICU setting.
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • PALS/NRP/ACLS certification.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
