We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor of Ethnic Studies to join our faculty team at Yuba Community College District. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Ethnic Studies courses, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Ethnic Studies courses up to 10 hours/week
  • Develop and implement curriculum for Ethnic Studies courses
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives
Requirements
  • Masters in the ethnic studies field or a related field
  • OR a Masters in American Studies/Ethnicity, Latino Studies, La Raza Studies, Central American Studies, Latin American Studies, Cross Cultural Studies, Race and Ethnic Relations, Asian-American Studies, or African-American Studies
  • OR the equivalent
  • OR Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on ethnic studies
  • Possess a California Community College credential in the subject matter area
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching experience in Ethnic Studies
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
