Insurance Defense Attorney

The selected candidate will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial. They will demonstrate exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures, as well as outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and the ability to independently manage a busy time-sensitive caseload.

The position is classified as a hybrid role, requiring hours in the office and virtually. The selected candidate should plan to spend time working both in the Westchester office and from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement.

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• Active license to practice law in New York and membership in good standing with the state bar
• 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
• Experience working in a paperless environment
• Experience directing support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
• Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
• Potential salary range: $125,625.00-$160,000.00 (starting salary will be based on background and experience)
• Potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary (results may vary from year to year)
