Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team at AAA The Auto Club Group. As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the liaison between customers and our automotive technicians, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with customers to expedite their service experience
  • Enter repair orders into our service database system and produce repair orders for customers with full transparency
  • Document automotive problems and service needs by listening to customer descriptions and examining service schedules
  • Prepare pricing estimates for labor and parts based on technician notes and documentation
  • Utilize the consultative selling process to assist customers in recommending needed maintenance
  • Communicate frequently with technicians to ensure timely completion of work
  • Process customer payments for services and collect deposits for repairs exceeding $1,000
  • Actively identify member/customer needs across all business lines and introduce members to other departments
  • Advocate for membership, insurance, and travel departments
  • Assist management with inventory count and maintain efficient stock levels
Requirements
  • High School diploma, GED, or Technical school certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • 6 months or more of relevant customer service or sales experience
  • Sales acumen and ability to promote product/service value
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and deal with difficult situations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
Work Environment

This position involves standing, walking, and normal physical mobility, including reaching, grabbing, lifting, and carrying automotive parts and equipment. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
