Job Summary

Empire Merchants North is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team in Coxsackie, NY. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering customers' orders in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliveries: Drive delivery truck over established routes, collecting payments and ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, reporting any issues or concerns.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Reconcile customers' invoices, collecting COD as specified and recording transactions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily deliveries, including completion of delivery records and DOT driver logs.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Valid CDL Class B (Commercial Drivers License) and a clean MVR record.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related delivery experience and/or training.
  • Skills: General knowledge of DOT regulations, ability to read and comprehend instructions, and basic math skills.
