Job Description:Magnet Medical is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a PCU setting and be able to provide high-quality care to patients with moderate to high acuity.
About the Job:
- This is a 13-week travel nursing position with 36 hours per week
- The shift will be 12 hours, nights
- The job is located in Marquette, Michigan
Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with moderate to high acuity, monitoring their physical and emotional needs.
- Patient Care and Monitoring: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including IV medications, pain management, and blood products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families about the recovery process, treatment plans, medications, and any required lifestyle changes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan
- Experience working in a PCU setting
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $150000/year (based on 36 hours/week and 52 weeks/year)
