Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team of behavioral healthcare professionals. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling, conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' substance abuse history and treatment requirements
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide individual and group counseling
  • Document treatment and discharge plans, and clients' progress and responses to treatment
  • Perform case management and contribute to client care monitoring
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to obtain Certification as a Missouri Alcohol Drug Counselor (MAADC)
  • Must be able to obtain Missouri Department of Corrections clearance
