We offer comprehensive cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, and neurosciences, as well as minimally-invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery, weight loss surgery, and treatment options.
We are fully accredited by the Joint Commission and certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Our hospital has an Accredited Chest Pain Center by ACC (American College of Cardiology) and is designated as a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery and Bariatric Surgery.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to assist the multi-disciplinary healthcare team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. The successful candidate will work in collaboration under the direction of the RN and Surgeon during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments, and supplies needed for surgical cases
- Communicate and participate in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN
- Graduation from Surgical Technician program preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required
- Previous scrubbing experience required
- Surgical Technologist Certification required
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Technician in Surgery (NCCT)
