CNC Machinist

DRT Holdings, LLC is a leading provider of precision components and services to the aerospace industry.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at our Simpsonville location.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and operation sheets, including knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Set up and operate complex, precision machining jobs with minimal supervision, utilizing advanced machinery and equipment
• Perform first-piece inspection using standard measuring equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Implement and maintain standard quality procedures, including machine setup, operation, inspection, documentation, and material handling
• Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to document in-process inspection dimensions and ensure seamless production
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety standards and requirements
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required to ensure optimal equipment performance

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience required
• 3-5 years of experience in milling or multi-axis turning, including setup and troubleshooting
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Lathe experience preferred; milling experience a plus
• Experience in aerospace or precision component manufacturing preferred
• Experience with lean manufacturing a plus
