Job Summary:
Synerfac is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rebuild and repair cathode plug assemblies to achieve maximum reliability and efficiency.
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on Electron Beam guns, including cleaning and repairs.
- Make major repairs and adjustments to the Electron Beam guns as requested by furnace personnel.
- Maintain a complete spare parts and supplies inventory to support 24 hour/7 day a week operation.
- Coordinate outside repairs and machining of E.B. gun parts.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
