Lead Nursing Manager for Day Shift Operations

About the Role:The Unit Manager - RN will be accountable for delivering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare on assigned nursing units. This role requires collaboration with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage, participating in interdisciplinary team efforts to achieve patient goals, and mentoring nurses to provide exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain safe nursing care delivery
- Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating ways to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations
- Mentor and educate nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals, and serve as a resource to all staff within the nursing unit
- Oversee medication management to ensure adequate supplies and compliance with Genesis policy
- Provide direct patient care along with other unit nurses to maintain skills

Requirements:- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- At least three years of nursing experience, with one year of nurse leadership experience required
- Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification
- A competitive salary ranging from $49.00 to $51.00 per hour
