Belfast, Maine, United States MaineHealth Full time
Job Summary

Maine Behavioral Healthcare offers transitional residential treatment programs for individuals navigating mental health challenges. Our environment fosters support and encourages ongoing treatment and community integration.

As a Residential Care Worker, you'll play a crucial role in providing individuals with the chance to enhance their overall functioning and quality of life.

By guiding them towards achieving their treatment objectives within both the residential program and the broader community, you'll make a significant impact on their journey towards maintaining recovery and reducing stigma.

Position Highlights:
  • Sign-on bonus: Up to $1,500, amount prorated for part-time
  • Base hourly rate: $19.14
  • Part Time

  • Saturday - Sunday 8am - 8pm
Responsibilities:

Join our team as a Residential Care Worker and step into an exhilarating role where every moment counts. You'll be at the heart of our program, maintaining schedules and diving into treatment-focused supervision meetings.

But that's just the start. Get ready to make a real difference by assisting and coordinating individuals in activities aimed at achieving their treatment goals and smoothly transitioning to a lower level of care.

As you immerse yourself in this dynamic environment, you'll develop a deep understanding of the statewide mental health system and resources.

From providing personal care to organizing appointments, you'll be the go-to person for our clients' needs.

But it doesn't stop there - you'll also have the opportunity to engage clients in stimulating treatment groups and community activities, creating an environment of growth and empowerment.
