Key Responsibilities- Imaging Services
- Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their physical and psychological comfort.
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate image interpretation and patient care.
- Patient Care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Participate in emergency response situations, such as Code Grey, Trauma, and Partial Trauma.
- Inventory and Maintenance
- Manage inventory of medical supplies, contrast media, and biopsy/drainage supplies.
- Maintain CT scanners and peripheral equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Participate in daily inventory and stocking of supplies.
- Current certification/licensure as a CT registered technologist.
- CPR certification.
- A current NJ RN License or compact license.
